J ROCKS
J-Rocks is a band from jakarta founded 9 November 2003 with member Iman (vokal, gitar), Sony (gitar), Wima (bass), dan Anton (drum). With Japanese pop/rock genre.
Founded with name J-Rockstars. "J" letter means Japan's pop/rock music, or Jakarta where they come from, or 'Jujur' that they play music they love. And finally J-Rockstars become J-Rocks, and J-Rockstars is used for J-Rocks' fan. Since 2008, J-Rocks decide to wear batik modern design Harajuku, and promote batik to teenager.

Early 2004, J-Rocks won festival musik Nescafe Get Started 2004 sponsored by Nescafe, Trans TV, and Aquarius Musikindo. Each member had the best vocalist, best guitarist, best bassist, and best drummer and they've got chance to join the Compilation Nescafe Album Get Started which is the first step of cooperation with Aquarius Musikindo. Then finally the launch the first album titled "Topeng Sahabat" labelled Aquarius at mid 2005 and gave 2 songs in OST Dealova that's it "Serba Salah" and "Into The Silent".
They become more famous since second album known Spirit, J-Rocks played variant genre just like Rock'n Roll (Juwita Hati), Waltz / Victorian (Tersesal), Symphonic Metal (Aku Harus Bisa), blues, clasic, and more.
In song "Kau Curi Lagi" the colaborate with young guitarist lady, Prisa Rianzi and in vidoe clip of "Juwita Hati" by Hedy Suryawan with japanese background, and made there, and Shalvynne Chang, Sato & Boppy act as fans that ran the their idol till Japan. And some harajuku place include Shibuya & Harajuku made as the background of Video Clip. This interesting concep made the video become so popular in indonesia.
J-Rocks made a hystory by become the first of Indonesian Musician who had the recording at Abbey Road Studio, England. And done within five days, from 12 till 16 October 2008. At Abbey Road they handled by Chris Butler, a famous sound engineer.
Recording of their three songs only need 2 days, and at the 3rd day, Christ done for final mixing of this songs. while, J-Rocks made video clip for song titled Falling in Love and have some pics at the Legendary zebra cross of Abbey Road with batik they have prepared in Jakarta. Finally J-Rocks launch their 3rd album, a mini album titled "Road to Abbey", covered with pic of J-Rocks that crossing zebracross Abbey Road.

They've got this chance for their winning of "A Mild Live Soundrenaline 2008". J-Rocks chosen as the best band performance for "Free Your Voice" dan "Save Our Music and Culture". Hopefully this will be the first step to Go International.
Abbey Road Studios founded at November 1931 by EMI in "London". Some famous musician had a recording here, just like The Beatles, Green Day, Muse, Oasis, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2 also Michael Jackson.
